Amanda was born and raised in the heart of Zimbabwe, where she grew up on a farm surrounded by the wild and beauty of African landscapes. From a young age, she developed a connection to nature and an insatiable curiosity for discovering new places. Her rural upbringing instilled in her a profound appreciation for the land, its people and the rich diversity that Africa has to offer.
Amanda is a passionate traveler, seeking out Africa’s untouched treasures, from remote bush camps, pristine coastlines to vibrant cultures and untouched wilderness. She has made it her mission to uncover the hidden havens to piece together experiences that are authentic and unforgettable.
With a warm, adventurous spirit and an eye for detail, Amanda founded Alpha Escapes to share her love of Africa for others. Her goal is simple: to inspire and empower travelers to connect with the soul of the continent through carefully handpicked journeys that go beyond the ordinary.
